A Poem: "Carpe' Diem

Carpe' Diem

“It’s time, it’s time!”
It shouted loudly
As loud as one thought can

The ink can no longer wait
The paper has been naked long enough
Shout it to the hill tops
Announce it to the world
Write it in all colors in the sky
The hand yearns the stimulation
To form the letters learn as a child

The phone rings!!

Such a distraction
This chosen seat I sit in
I have no choice
If I want to live
To live I must sit here
To wait for permission
Waiting for a small glimpse
A glimpse of what I really desire
To earn the means
To buy
To obtain my desires
It is the law of modern nature
The survival of the fittest
You must do first what you hate
In order to have the means
In order to have a way
In order to do what you love
Yet this law has flaws
Infinite cracks
The hate often swallows you
Engulfs you
It is all you do
It becomes an obsession
To eat
To sleep
To wake for this hate
Only to be reminded
Of how you hate this Hate

The phone is ringing!!

“It’s time, it’s time!”
“The time is now!”
“Stand up from your seat!”
“Chase your love!”
“Be poor and happy!”
“Have nothing and rejoice in it!”
“Receive your nothingness
To receive everything!”
“Do what you love!”
“Embrace your desire!”
“It’s time, it’s time!”
“The time is now!”
